Hollywood Hills AirBNB Get-Ready Glam - Denise
For many brides, choosing a getting-ready space at an Airbnb is an obvious choice. It offers space, a homey backdrop for those getting ready photos, and versatility for most wedding-day needs! For my bride, Denise, a charming fully Tech’d-out Hollywood Hills Airbnb was the place for her glam time!
Denise started the day well, making sure to drink plenty of water and a snack to break the overnight fast. With some minor butterflies and a sweet goodbye to her groom, the glam started.
Fitted with a binder for each floor of the Airbnb, Denise and her gals had all the options for every aspect of technology they desired. Speakers? Check. Lights? Check. Lights that change with the sound emitting from the speakers? Check. Having a 1-inch thick binder of instructions for each level of the 3 level house provided the perfect humor break in the middle of the morning; giving Denise’s girls even more opportunities to help the bride relax and enjoy her glam time!
With the technology handled and the room vibe light and filled with laughter, Denise was able to sit back, relax, and soak in the happiness of the day while in my chair.
One of the things I love most about the idea of getting ready at an Airbnb is the stress-free environment it created by eliminating the possibility of some common problems. Enough space for everyone, forgetting an important item, an important bridal party/family member getting lost on the way are all manageable when everyone and everything is there the night before. Booking at an AirBNB also provides ample time to glam and get ready in a peaceful environment without the danger of disturbing your hotel neighbors or not having some of those important detail items (scissors, paper towels, a few moments of privacy).
How the Bride Found Me
Denise found me via a Google search for “Old Hollywood Waves”. Hollywood Waves are one of the more popular hairstyles and hair trends known for its classic wave and chic style.
During Denise’s trial we tried out the waves for her. She looked lovely!! As she sat on the photos and idea for her day though, she decided it was better to go for a soft curl hair look. This is a HUGE benefit of booking a trial. Denise was able to see hair and makeup come together and see if it fit the vision and feel she wanted for the day. When she decided she wanted something a bit less coiffed, we adjusted to soft bridal waves. It looked stunning!!
A Wedding at Castaway Burbank
Denise eventually departed from the Hollywood Hills Airbnb to celebrate her wedding at the Castaway restaurant in Burbank. If you haven’t been to Castaway yet, you NEED to go! In 2017, the owners invested in a multi-million dollar renovation that has clientelle flocking to it! With multiple rooms and delicious meal options, the Castaway restaurant was a spectacular place for Denise’s wedding celebrations!!
