BOOKING
Please contact me to book your hair and makeup glam services.
All services times are on a first come (retainer required), first served basis. Holds are not offered.
A retainer will be required to book and secure your services.
A retainer and signed contract are required to book and secure services for parties booking 6 and more services.
RBM Beauty holds the right to require contracts to book at its discretion, regardless of the number of services booking.
Services before 7AM and after 8PM incur a $25 fee per hour (*fee subject to changes).
ADDITIONAL FEES
We do not have any “hidden fees”. We charge for services performed and travel. Any extra add-ons cost will be communicated to you before being performed. You will receive your travel fees when you book your appointment.
Travel - Travel is complementary up to 5 miles, after that mileage is $1.95 per mile.
App Processing Charges - Payment is preferred final payment in Zelle or Cash. CashApp, & ApplePay are available. Credit Card, Venmo and Paypal are offered with a 3% processing fee applied. Checks are not accepted.
Holiday Weekend Upcharge - There is a 10% upcharge for all Federally recognized holiday weekend bookings. (I.e. Easter, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Fourth Of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & New Years Eve/Day.
Parking & Hotel Parking Fees – Client is responsible for any/all parking fees for Artist(s). This can be billed to your hotel room or added to your bill on the day of. Valet is expected when available.
Last Minute Same Day Bookings — Will have an up charge of $75+
Location Change Fee (changing locations during a glam booking) $25+ per artist needed.
Services before 7AM and after 8PM incur a $25 fee per hour (*fee subject to changes) per artist needed.
IN STUDIO APPOINTMENTS
Please arrive on time to your appointment.
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face.
Have clean and completely dry hair ready to be styled. Please No heat added prior to appointment, blow dry on cool if needed. *Unless discussed prior to service time, dry hair is fully expected. (Clients arriving with wet hair will be charged a $40 blow-dry fee at the Artist(s) discretion)
Bring any specific products and accessories you would like to use for your appointment. Please have inspiration photos.
ON LOCATION APPOINTMENT
Please have all parties arrive on time or before their assigned time slot. No additional time will be added to their service appointment if late.
Come with a clean, makeup-free face.

Working Space & Environment: In order for our artists to perform the job adequately; a working space free of constrictions and obstructions is required. Daylight (when available) and electric outlets are a requirement. Restrooms are not an acceptable form of working space.
Pets: Please put all Pet Family members in a different area to help us keep glam on time.
ADD ON SERVICES
Add On Services are requested to be booked at the time of booking.
Any add-on services will be charged at the full rate and serviced after all the pre-booked services are completed.
BEING LATE TO A SERVICE APPOINTMENT
15 mins or more late for a 1 service appointment.
30 mins or more late for a 2 service appointment.
If schedule allows, additional time may be added with a service fee ($1 per minute late) applied to your appointment(s).
If schedule does not allow, you will have only the time allotted for your appointments.
If there is no communication in the above service late timing, RBM Beauty will consider the appointment a “No Show” and the appropriate policies will apply.
RESCHEDULING / CANCELLATION / NO SHOW
Service Cancellations less than 30 Days from booked service time will lose retainer.
Service Reschedules less than 72 hours will lose retainer, and new retainer will be required to reschedule.
No Show appointments will lose retainer. In order to rebook an appointment with RBM Beauty, you will be required to pay your full service balance on your no-show appointment.
SICKNESS OR FAMILY EMERGENCY
If you, or another person in your household has become ill or sick please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. For your safety and ours, please do not come to your appointment sick. Cancel if you have pink eye, open sores, a cold sore at any stage, etc.
If you arrive and we deem your condition as ill or sick, your appointment may be cut short/cancelled/rescheduled for a later date. A one-time allowance of a last minute cancellation or reschedule will be permitted for sudden sickness or family emergency. After that, the cancellation and no show policy is in effect.
COVID-19 and it’s Variants: Client hereby releases and waives the right to bring suit against Ruth B Medrano Beauty, it's owners, employees, independent contractors and representatives in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 and it's variants related to utilizing Ruth B Medrano Beauty's services & premises. Client can request usage of masks and Covid Testing. All testing costs will be covered by Client. Client agrees to this upon booking.
PAYMENT & TIP
Final payment is preferred in Zelle or Cash. CashApp & ApplePay are accepted. Credit Card, Venmo, and Paypal are also accepted with a 2.9% app processing fee applied.
Cash is preferred only in exact payment.
Gratuity is appreciated, but not expected. We charge what we need to be there for your services. Any extra gratuity is at your own discretion.
REFUNDS
There are no refunds on any services that have been performed. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your hair or makeup, alert us to it during your appointment so we can adjust to your liking.
ALLERGIES
Please alert us of any allergies before the start of your service.
Client(s) agree(s) to release artist(s) from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by Client(s) to Artist(s) prior to application/styling. Artist(s) can provide a sample test of product(s) to test skin reaction upon request.
PHOTO, IMAGES, & VIDEO
The use of photos, images, and video in Hair and Makeup Artistry is necessary to show the work and advance the business. Any images, media, videos, etc. gathered throughout the Makeup/Hairstyling service(s) may be used for professional use by Ruth B Medrano Beauty and reposted by Artist Team across all web and social media platforms. By allowing Ruth & Artist team to record your image & likeness, you understand and agree that all materials gathered containing your likeness will become the property of Ruth B Medrano Beauty and will not be returned, nor will you have a right to a copy. You irrevocably authorize Ruth B Medrano Beauty to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish and distribute your likeness for any lawful purpose.
If you prefer your image not to be used, please make us aware of your preference.
PROMOTIONS
Promotions when offered, are only available for a single Glam Makeup and/or Hairstyling service as specified and does not apply to the travel cost, if any. It is not available for any group, Bridal or Red Carpet booking. All promotions expire 90 days after their “Delivered” date. RBM Beauty reserves the right to change offers without notice.
STUDIO LOCATION AND PARKING
Ruth B Medrano Beauty has a studio located in North Hollywood. Street Parking is free and available. No parking in any driveways.
