When Genine came to me, Ruth of RBM Beauty (pro hairstylist and makeup artist of 10+ years), for her wedding beauty needs, she initially expressed concerns that her Asian features wouldn’t be tastefully enhanced the way she loved to see herself. Although they were married at the Valentine DTLA, Genine and her bridal party glammed at the renowned members-only Los Angeles Athletic Club; a swanky, old school, and moody atmosphere which really expressed the vintage Hollywood vibes of the day!
Because of the makeup trial, Genine was able to feel totally at ease and relaxed the morning of her wedding at such a historic and glamorous site! We arrived at 7AM, myself and my glam team of +3, to glam Genine and her party of 8! From soft waves to glowy skin, my glam team and I were able to accommodate every ladies’ preferred look!
I really enjoy the different spaces I get to visit like the LA Athletic Club! It not only provides a calm and swoon-worthy atmosphere, but adds so much character to the day’s events!
Vintage Hollywood Glamour
