Availability
RBM Beauty is on a first booked, first served basis and changes daily. To book please use the contact form. Once received, I will send over pricing, availability, and a general estimate of your day along with the Investment packet. If you are are interested in booking from there I recommend a consultation call to meet and discuss the specifics of your day, as well as get your specific questions answered! You can book your day on the call!
How Early Should I Book My Wedding Hairstyling And Makeup Services?
I recommend securing your day when you book your wedding photographer or start dress shopping. I always encourage my Brides’ to make the most of the Bridal Preview, by using it for engagement photos or dress try-ons to bring the look together! Timewise, it’s best for RBM Beauty Brides to secure their date 8-12 months out!

What is the Booking Process Like?
A 20% Retainer and Signed Contract secure your wedding date and Glam services. The remainder of your balance is due as follows: 30% is Due 30 Days from Due Date. The remainder is due 7 Days before the actual event date (So we don’t have to worry about closing out on the wedding day!).
Dates are NOT held, and no booking is secured until signed contract AND retainer are completed.
I use a secure online system for all invoicing, Credit payments, and contracts.
Do you offer Hair and Makeup Trials/Previews?
Yes! Trials/Previews are offered both In Studio and with Mobile Option. This glam session includes both hair and makeup (as you have scheduled). The trials takes between 2-4 hours depending on services booked.
A Trial is booked within 2 weeks of deciding to move forward with me. Your wedding date is not yet secured.
A Preview is booked whenever you prefer prior to wedding date, while your wedding date is fully booked and secured.
When Should I Book My Bridal Preview/Trial?
I often recommend booking your Bridal Preview when you can make the best use of it; for a bridal shower, bachelorette, wedding guest opportunity or similar celebration!
A Note: If you are solely booking a trial, and have not yet secured your wedding day, my best suggestion is to trial within 1-2 weeks of deciding to move forward with RBM Beauty. Holds are not offered on event dates without the proper retainer and contracts required.
May I Do A Bridal Trial Before I Book My Wedding Day?
Yes! I want you to be completely confident in me as your artist! Great things come from great artist/client relationships!
Please note, though, that booking your trial only does not secure your wedding date.
I’m Planning a Destination Wedding and Can’t Book a Trial/Preview—What Should I Do?
That’s totally okay! Los Angeles is a popular wedding destination, and I often work with Clients who are flying in from out of town or even internationally. While trials are a great way to connect beforehand, they’re not required—I’m fully confident in bringing your bridal vision to life on the day of, even without a pre-wedding appointment.
If you'd still love to do a trial, we’ll do our best to accommodate your travel schedule—especially if you're coming in the week of the wedding. I want you to feel as confident and ready as possible!
Who Comes To Do the Glam Services?
When you book with Ruth B Medrano Beauty, I (Ruth B Medrano) will be your (Bride) wedding day artist! I also include into my schedule all bridal party that my schedule allows. When it comes to larger bridal parties, I bring on my experienced artist team who help me accommodate larger bridal party glam services as needed.
My team and I are able to style and apply a variety of styles for any skin/hair type, texture, age, ethnicity, etc. My team is not made up of “assistants”, but tried and true industry professionals who have been specifically chosen by me for their beautiful work and luxe client experience. Professionalism, Client Experience, and High-Quality output is the foundation of the entire team.
Are You Able To Accommodate Large Bridal Parties?
Yes! RBM Beauty Team can accommodate any size party!
When you book with Ruth B Medrano Beauty, I (Ruth B Medrano) will be your (Bride) wedding day artist! I also include into my schedule all bridal party that my schedule allows. Do You Have A Service Minimum?
Non-destination weddings currently have only a 1 service minimum.
Destination weddings have a $1500 day booking minimum not including travel costs.
Do You Come To Me On My Wedding Day?
Yes! As a mobile Hairstylist and Makeup artist, I (and any team needed) come to you to make the experience as easy and stress-free as possible!
I offer services to all of Southern California, California, nationally and internationally.
Do You Charge A Travel Fee?
Yes. Travel is $1.95 per mile up to 54 miles from the North Hollywood Studio, 91606 per artist. 55+ miles of travel adjusts to Destination Travel and is charged at $135/hr for Lead Artist and $110/hr for additional artist(s) plus any additional Travel costs (i.e. Airplane Ticket, Ferry Ticket, Etc.). There is a $1500 day-of minimum for all destination wedding parties.
Accommodations may be required for Destination Weddings. Timing & Distance determines need.
How Long Do Services Take On The Wedding Day?
For the Bride 2hrs per service. For the Bridal Party: 60mins per service.
How Many Artists do I need?
I will help you decide how many artist you’ll need based on how many glam services you book! You will receive this in either our consultation call or in the contract breakdown before signing.
Do I Need To Provide Anything?
We need access to natural light, electrical outlets, and table/counter space (to set up on). I (and my team) will bring makeup chairs, lights, hair and makeup equipment & product!
Are Faux Lashes Included?
Yes! Lashes are included in all Makeup Services. Individual Lashes & multiple Strip Lash options are always available.
Do you recommend getting Lash Extensions? Hair Extensions?
Lash extensions are discouraged for all RBM Beauty Brides.
Hair extensions are encouraged for all RBM Beauty Brides.
Does RBM Beauty offer Touch Ups?
Yes! Though all makeup and hair is styled and applied to be long-lasting, your look can shift throughout the day. Touch-ups ensure you stay flawless for every photo and every moment. It’s peace of mind and that extra level of luxury you absolutely deserve!
Stay-On Touch-Ups – $150/hr
I stay on-site after the initial glam to provide touch-ups as needed. Perfect for smoothing flyaways, refreshing lips, or blotting shine for photos and before the ceremony/reception.
Return Touch-Ups – $350 for 1 hr of Touch Up Time
I return later in the day for a full touch up and refresh. This is ideal for brides who want to reset glam before the ceremony or after outdoor portraits.
Second/Reception Look – $450
I’ll return to completely transform your look—whether that’s a bold lip, dramatic eye, or a new hairstyle for your reception entrance.
Can I Book Just Makeup Or Just Hair?
Yes! You can choose to book just one service!
Do You Offer Airbrush Makeup?
Yes—selectively! I offer airbrush makeup for skin refinement and long-lasting wear, especially for brides who love a flawless, soft-focus finish.
That said, I typically recommend traditional makeup application. It gives me complete control over product selection, blending, and finish—allowing me to customize every step, from skin prep to setting spray, based on your unique skin type and desired look. My goal always is to deliver the most seamless, radiant, and photo-ready glam possible.
Do you practice proper sanitation?
Absolutely. I take hygiene and cleanliness very seriously. All brushes, tools, and products are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each use. Each client receives a fresh, sanitized setup—including disposable applicators when needed—for a safe and comfortable experience. Every artist on the Ruth B Medrano Beauty team is held to the same high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
Is Ruth B Medrano Beauty Insured?
Yes! And COI’s or additional insured are available by Venue request.
